Update on Wisdom Profiteth
We cast blames on the third servant, while we are just like him. God gave talents to man who ignorantly hid it. The world would be a better place if every Christian use their gift(s) and what they have for God’s work.
“But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal… For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.” (1 Corinthians 12:7 and Ephesians 4:12).
Each man was given talents and all that is needed for the Kingdom of God. You should not hide it by not making good use of it (see 1 Peter 4:10).

In Luke 19:13, we are to occupy till He returns. We are commanded to go into the world, and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15).
What does it mean to occupy?
It means “to take charge of a particular place”. The interpretation differs with different categories of people.
- As a parent, you are to take charge of your responsibility by taking good care of your family. (Read tips to producing good children )
- As a leader, you are to serve and rule your followers aright.
- As a Christian, you are to live for God [by living righteously and telling others about Him].
Imagine what would happen if the early church did not take this serious just as we behave today. What is the fate of posterity if we continue this way?
God chose Abraham and blessed him because He knew he would teach his children [his followers and everybody around him] His way (Genesis 18:19). As a descendant of Abraham, you must be like him. Let God’s work continue. The children of Eli did not follow the ways of their father because he failed to teach them. Consequently, they were destroyed (see 1 Samuel 2:27-34, 4:15-18).
Learn from Eli, teach others so that you will not be destroyed with them. Give God praise, honour Him with your life and increase His Kingdom on earth.
